Day 1: Arrival at Ulaanbaatar
Arrive in Mongolia’s capital city, Ulaanbaatar. Your guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel. Take some time to rest after your flight and enjoy a short briefing about the upcoming ice cycling adventure. In the evening, gather for a welcome dinner with your team.

Day 2 : Flight to Murun, Drive to Khatgal village.
After breakfast, take a domestic flight to Murun, the provincial capital of Khuvsgul aimag. From there, drive 110 km north to Khatgal, a picturesque lakeside village at the southern tip of Lake Khuvsgul. The afternoon is spent preparing your bikes and equipment for the journey ahead. In the evening, settle into a warm ger and enjoy dinner with views of the frozen lake.

Day 3: Ice Cycling to Toilogt
Today marks your first day of cycling on the ice. The crystal-clear surface of the lake reveals fascinating patterns of cracks and bubbles frozen in time. You’ll ride 35 km along the western shoreline toward Toilogt Peninsula, surrounded by distant mountains and the silent beauty of winter wilderness. In the evening, warm up by the stove and enjoy a hearty meal in your ger.

Day 4 : Ice Cycling to Modon Khui Island.
Continue your adventure with a 40 km ride toward Modon Khui Island, one of Lake Khuvsgul’s most scenic points. The day’s route takes you through wide-open ice fields with occasional snow patches and frozen ridges. After cycling, transfer by car along the northern shore to Khankh village, a small settlement near the Russian border. Tonight, enjoy a cozy evening with local hospitality.

Day 5: Ice Cycling to Deed Modot Bulan.
Ride 40 km along the upper reaches of the lake where the water freezes into striking shades of blue and turquoise. The landscape grows more remote, framed by the snow-capped Horidol Saridag Mountains to the west. Reach Deed Modot Bulan in the afternoon — a serene area known for its untouched winter beauty and quiet remoteness.

Day 6: Drive to Murun, Fly back to Ulaanbaatar.
After breakfast, drive 110 km back to Murun through the frozen steppe and taiga forest. Catch your return flight to Ulaanbaatar, where you’ll check into the hotel for a relaxing evening. Celebrate the completion of your ice cycling expedition with a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7: Departure
